Aspire Whitby turned six on Saturday, October 3, with an evening of climbing, ninja, community and 80s music. Alongside the anniversary boulder scramble, the gym added two ninja challenges this year, and climbers were invited to dig out an 80s outfit.

There was a raffle too: four gear bundles, each worth over $200, at $5 for one entry, $10 for five or $15 for ten.

To make room, the gym closed to the public at 3 pm that day, with regular rec classes running as scheduled, and reopened at 9 am on Sunday, October 4.
