Progression Bouldering in Vancouver is running its first spray wall competition, Ticked Off, from October 5 to 18. There are 30 boulders, 3 winning categories and two weeks to send as many as you can, logged on the @getstokt app.

First place wins a free one-month membership; second place takes a $25 voucher from West Coast Resoles.

If you have never climbed on the spray wall, the gym is offering drop-in coaching with @robert_nelson96, a coach it calls a fan favourite. Pick a slot, 6:30 to 7:30 pm or 7:30 to 8:30 pm, for spray wall basics, technique and beta.

The gym recommends that participants climb V3 and up. Gym entry is not included in the coaching: non-members and punch-card holders need a day pass.
